Ceramics, nature, and a love for storytelling.
I’m a Melbourne-based ceramicist who is inspired by the beauty of nature and the storytelling tradition of utilitarian objects. My work draws from botanical illustration, with detailed paintings of plant specimens informing my ceramic practice.
I hand-build oversized vases, pitchers, bowls, and cassoulets, using their surfaces as canvases to explore the life cycle of native plants - particularly those found in coastal environments. Through my work, I hope to share my reverence for the natural world and invite others to notice the delicate balance of these ecosystems.
Over the years, I’ve exhibited in more than 15 solo shows and over 40 group exhibitions, with my work held in both private and public collections.
